What is Geesee and how can I use it?
Geesee is free cross-site chat. It serves as a gateway to huge community of chat users chatting in many chat rooms. You can search for room on any topic you like and join any chat room and chat with people already chatting. You don’t need to download or install anything. You don’t even need to register. Just visit any website that has Geesee on it and start chatting.How do I chat using Geesee?
Visit any website that has Geesee on it, or chat on our website and follow the simple instructions in chat. You can search for chat rooms on any topic you like. You can join any chat room and start talking. You can private message any other user or view other users’ profiles. You can create you own chat room as well.What are chat room tags?
Chat room tags are keywords that describe a topic being discussed in the chat room. Searching of chat rooms is based on chat room tags. If you want to talk about buying a new car, you can search for tags “new”, “car” or “buy”, or all of them and you’ll get a list of all the rooms tagged by these words.How do I search for chat rooms?
You click on “Search room” button in the upper right corner and you get two tabs.- tab 1. Search room tab allows you to search rooms for any topic by entering tags describing the topic you are searching for. For example, if you want to chat about buying a new car, you can search for: buying a new car.
- tab 2. Most active rooms tab gives you the list of the currently most active chat rooms – that is, the rooms with the most users chatting on different topics. This way you’ll always find people to talk to.
Do I need to Sign up?
No, you don’t need to Sign up to chat and use basic functionality like search or accepting private messages from registered users. Sign up is required for actions like creating a new chat room, starting a private communication, or viewing profiles of others. By registering, you get also your unique Geesee name that nobody else can have and you can fill out your own personal profile and let others know who you are.How do I Sign up?
While you are in Geesee chat on any site, you can click on the Sign up button in the bottom right menu of the user section. While signing up, you can fill out your personal information by clicking on the Personal information tab.When and how should I create a new room?
After searching rooms for your favorite topic and getting no results, you can go ahead and create the first room on your favorite topic, so other users can find you. Also, if you are in the room with too many chatters and it starts to get too muddled, create a new room with more specific tags. To create a room click on the Create room button in the upper right corner of the Search room menu.How do I start private communication?
Double click on any user in the user list, or hold the mouse over his name and choose “Start private communication” from the context menu. A new chat room will open in a separate tab that is reserved for only you two.How do I set up automatic Sign in on my computer?
If you want Geesee to remember your sign in information on your computer you can check this option during the registration process, or when signing in to the Geesee. Signing out from the system clears your automatic sign in settings.Can I have Geesee chat on my site as well?
